Alcohol


Sure that this Christmas we have all consumed enough alcohol, I will show you the effects and stuff:



The effects of alcohol on the body are numerous and diverse. Alcohol, specifically ethanol, is a powerful psychoactive drug with a high number of tertiary effects that can seriously affect our body. The amount and circumstances of consumption play an important role in determining the duration of intoxication. For example, consuming alcohol after a big meal is less likely to visible signs of intoxication occur with an empty stomach. Hydration also plays an important role, especially in determining the duration of hangovers.

After alcohol intake produced a series of short-term effects or symptoms , dependent on the dose ingested .
1 - Phase of euphoria and excitement . BAC 0.5 g / L. Talkativeness , euphoria , disinhibition, impulsive behavior .
2 - Poisoning . The body is not used to alcohol resists. Gradually the nervous originate loss in the ability to coordinate movements and sometimes causing the imbalance falls system is affected . If overused can cause locomotor ataxia which is a paralysis of the alcohol itself . Alcohol has depressant effects and an apparent feeling of warmth to the cutaneous vessels dilate , but what really happens is the heat loss from the body.
3 - Phase hypnotic or confusion . BAC : 2 g / L. Irritability , agitation , drowsiness , headache. Dysarthria , ataxia , dysmetria . Nausea and vomiting.
4 - Phase anesthetic or stupor and coma. BAC : 3 g / L. Language inconsistent. Marked decrease in level of consciousness ( drowsiness and coma) and muscle tone . Sphincter incontinence . Shortness of breath .
5 - Phase bulbar or death. BAC : 5 g / L. Cardiovascular shock . Inhibition of the respiratory center . Cardio-respiratory arrest and death.
